My project will be a series of botanical photographs. I’m inspired by the work of Karl Blossfeldt, Ana Filipa Domingues and Leanne White. I collect houseplants and use them to decorate my home in what I call “living sculptures” through pruning and gardening methods, along with collecting pottery. However, for this project most of my focus will be on leaf structure, similar to Karl Blossfeldt. I’ve attached examples from each photographer below.
I am so into these pictures and the textures are amazing. Your feature image is my favorite one not only because of the structure of the plant, but also the contrast in it.
