I decided to shoot self-portraits according to the style of a Chinese photographer Jiacheng Zhang. I took some pictures of my mom at first but I wasn’t satisfied by the result, so I shot some self-portraits using the tripod and Canon App on my phone. The use of color was simple and mostly with red and black. I combined the Chinese traditional style with the modern elements and flowers together in this photo series.

The first and third image are so powerful. I love the perspective of both.
I absolutely LOVE these! The colors are so striking and your attention to detail is amazing. Did you add grain to the photos? If so I think they add to the photos very nicely. I especially love the first 3 of you and the ones of your mom. These seriously look like they could be in a magazine.
The highlights are blown out in some of these; otherwise, your overall warm lighting is good.
