For my second project, I wanted to shoot very detailed and close up, so I experimented with macro photography. I accomplished this by flipping my camera lens around and holding it to the sensor – this made the depth of field for all of these shots super shallow, so it took lots of attempts at different ranges from the subject to get the focus correct. I went out right after it rained to take pictures of the flowers in order to capture the water beading up and pooling on the petals. For the photos of the eyes, I wanted to capture the details in the eye along with interesting reflections, and I especially like how the shot with the reflection of eyelashes turned out.

Your close-ups of the eyes are so good with sharp focus! I really love the reflects that you captured in their eyes.
I really like the water droplets on the flowers! Great detail and composition.
The violet on the bottom has good bokeh in the background as well as details in the flower.
